ThyssenKrupp VDM's Purchasing department procures raw materials, capital goods, spare parts, works equipment, industrial services and operating supplies for ThyssenKrupp VDM.
Raw materials procurement for our subsidiary ThyssenKrupp VDM USA is also handled in Germany.
Purchasing also stores spare parts in central facilities in Werdohl, Unna and Altena to ensure quick repairs and minimal downtime in the event of faults or breakdowns. Operating supplies are stored mainly in the central facility at Werdohl but also in the other locations.
