Cobalt-based Alloys

Compared to nickel alloys, cobalt alloys maintain their excellent high-temperature strength up to 1,150 °C; they also possess outstanding oxidation resistance due to their chromium content.

Cobalt alloys are used in both stationary and flying turbines. Conicro 5010 W - alloy 25 and Conicro 4023 W - alloy 188 are particularly well suited for the extremely corrosive atmospheres in gas turbines.
