Dr Franz-Josef Wahlers, Member of the Management Board of Outokumpu VDM, is responsible for Research & Development, Technology, and Quality and Environmental Management.
On completion of his studies, Dr Franz-Josef Wahlers (born 1952) joined ThyssenKrupp Nirosta as director of the steelworks in Krefeld and Bochum, Germany.
In 2004 he moved to Outokumpu VDM GmbH as Chief Technology Officer.
